The Ashford Joy

As years went by, I found myself traveling to various places giving spinning demonstrations.  It was a hassle transporting a wheel trying to make sure I did not damage it.  I finally broke down and bought a Joy Wheel.  I was a little apprehensive, but was pleasantly surprised with the ease of using this wheel and the great portability.  -- By the way, my Joy wheel was dubbed "Jenny."  The Ashford Company named this line of wheels "Joy" after Joy Ashford, the wife of Walter Ashford, who started the Ashford company.  The wheel comes with three bobbins and is completely self-contained.  The Joy only comes in a clear lacquered finish.  (See Double Treadle Below)
