In most cases, orders are shipped within 3-5 days of the date of order; however, delivery of some items may be 4-6 weeks depending on availability.  If an item is not available with the 4-6 week time period, the customer will be notified. 

 

Shipping includes the costs for packing, shipping & insurance.  We pay for delivery of orders over $300 (up to the amount of UPS Ground)

2- & 3-day guaranteed delivery by UPS, USPS or FedEx delivery are available for extra cost.  These services depend upon availability of items at the time of purchase.

 

Priority Mail does not guarantee delivery in a specific period of time. If you choose that method we will advise you of the normal delivery time as a convenience. This time will vary with season and location. A specific delivery date is not guaranteed. If you need your order by a certain date please let us know and we will discuss the best method of delivery with you, not to mention availability of the product being ordered.

 

Delayed or Slow Delivery

If your order is taking longer than you expect to be delivered, you can do the following: UPS delivery, call us for a tracking number. With this number UPS can tell you where the package is and when to expect it. Mail Delivery, check with your local Post Office before you call. The delivery notice may have been misplaced or neglected.

 

Loss or Damage in Delivery

Our delivery charges include a delivery guarantee. This means that if your order gets to you in poor condition or if it doesn't get to you at all ... it's not your problem, it's ours and we'll take care of it. Just let us know promptly.

Please help us resolve the problem by observing the following: 1)Damage claims are not accepted beyond 30 days after shipment. 2) Save the damaged goods and packaging material. The shipper may request to see it before honoring any insurance claim we make.

Do not accept an obviously damaged package. Refuse it and notify us that you have done so. We will replace the order immediately

We will reship missing UPS and Postal deliveries after 2 weeks.

 

PRICE CHANGES

We get our products from many sources. Any of them can change a price at any time. When this happens we must unfortunately change our price too.

If you are sending payment (check, money order or cash) with your order please contact us to check prices. If your payment is too small we will check with you about the difference. If you agree to pay it we will send your order with an amount due. Please remit this difference promptly to keep our overhead down.

If you are paying by credit card and the order total is more than you calculated then we would just bill it to your card if it is less than 5% of the order total or less than $10. If the difference is more than these amounts we will contact you for instructions before billing and shipping.

 

POLICIES on RETURNS & EXCHANGES

 

ALL yarn sales are final.  It is impossible to tell if any yarn from a skein has been used unless the yarn was in sealed bags.  So, you need to be sure before you place your yarn order of what it is that you need and want.  Likewise, you need to be sure of color.  Computer monitors may not produce the exact color of the item and may vary according to shading.  Therefore, the Tail Spinner cannot be responsible if the color of yarn does not exactly match the shade you wanted.

 

We will promptly replace any product that is defective in materials, workmanship and which does not perform as expected because of this. Likewise any product will be exchanged, which was shipped in error. Please let us know immediately and we will help arrange return shipping. If we are not able to replace or repair it within 30 days, you have the option of waiting until we can or receiving a refund or store credit of the purchase price.

 

To receive full credit for the returned goods please do the following:

1) Call us for a return authorization number and shipping instructions.

2) Include all instructions, accessories, packing materials and a copy of your invoice.

3) Be positive the product will arrive here in new, undamaged condition. If we cannot resell it for the full price then we cannot refund the full price to you.

Once we have everything back in good shape we will issue credit for the purchase price less outbound delivery charge if we paid it. For your own protection insure the return shipment.

Please Note! Returns made without prior authorization or after 30 days of shipment are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

No returns accepted after 45 days.

 

All returns are issued store credit only.

All refunds for shipping errors are paid by check.

Returned check fee is $30.

Shrink-wrapped products (videos & software) are not returnable if shrink-wrap is broken.

We cannot be responsible for delivery address errors and any costs or damages resulting from incorrect addresses given to us.
