Needle-Felted Puppets

& Animals

All of the needle-felted animals and puppets are completely constructed from 100% wool and/or natural fibers.  There is absolutely no paint or any artificial additions to these sculpted pieces.  Each and every detail is done by meticulously needle felting tiny amounts of hand-dyed, or natural fibers to make the characteristic effects that bring these sculptures to life.

This adorable "Bobcat and Chipmunk" won Best in Show at the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival.  There is over five pounds of wool in this sculpture, and the life-like expressions of the animals are priceless!

$1250

This lovely llama was made to resemble "Furby" from Shangrila Llamas.  Furby was so adorable, with a face worth making, so Melissa sculpted him in wool.

$500

This Icelandic Ram was modeled after "MacBeth" from Tongue River Farm.  His regal face is so full of expression, and his massive curled horns bring out the full characteristics of his breed.

$500

ABC Woolcrafts is very proud of this lovely little lady.  Lucy is the most adorable angora goat one would ever meet.  She thinks she is a "lap goat" and would gladly climb into your lap if you let her.  She knocks on the door with her horns begging for "cookies."  Luckly, she produces some great mohair for all that attention she gets!

$500

Alpacas are adorable as is their wool, but "Fiore" from Thanes Neck Farm begged to be sculpted in wool!

$650

Cotswold fleeces are very popular with hand-spinners because of their long luxurious wool.  This pretty girl did not have a name, but she deserved to be immortalized as a favorite breed.

$350

This particular puppet was done to resemble "Lily" from Spring Breeze Farm.  The Border Leicester is a wonderful breed, and they have such a unique shape to their face and head as compared to other sheep breeds.

$350

Woodland characters are always a favorite.  Chipmunks, squirrels, and bunnies are available from ABC Woolcrafts for $65.00
